When the Bitcoin Foundation wanted to forge their global growth strategy, we oversaw the two-year platform to advocate Bitcoin business applications, community outreach and public policy engagement. We sourced and directed a team of one hundred people and implemented the strategy hand-in-hand with C-level board members; this strategy was highlighted by an annual three-day membership conference of 2000pax. This event included five simultaneous tracks of content, 140 speakers, 50 trade fair stands, a start-up challenge, a hackathon, an affiliates day and an award show.
The strategy earned two new premium sponsors for the foundation, a new foundation board in Holland and 800 new memberships. As well as international media coverage and engagement with regulators in the United States and the European Union.
Finally, we planned the expansion strategy that highlighted the Asia market, focused on a base in Hong Kong and Singapore .
Along with the commercialisation strategy, we produced and managed all live event production aspects turnkey style, including sales, marketing, logistics, event production for the 2000 guests, speakers, media and foundation members. This was done within budget and to resounding positive responses from the board.
